Scouting report: Old Dominion vs. Towson

–TOWSON, Md.

It’s odd to see 20 scouts at a Colonial Athletic Association baseball game. But it was quickly apparent that the scouts had come for Old Dominion ace Dan Hudson. The junior righthander showed a plus 91-93 mph fastball with life and a plus changeup, but had an uncharacteristically shaky start, giving up six runs (all earned) in seven innings. Kevin Collins, Brian Conley and Greg Furmanek each homered off Hudson. Jimmy Miles of Old Dominion also went yard against sophomore starter Zach Umberger. Josh Squatrito reached 90 mph as he recorded his fourth save in as many opportunities.

New pages are up for Hudson, Conley and Miles.
