Scouting report: Massachusetts vs. George Washington

George Washington beat UMass 5-0 behind an eight inning shutout from junior transfer Chris Neary on Friday, April 4 before 108 in Arlington, VA.  Neary allowed only one hit, an infield single, and struck out two before ceding the ninth inning to Jimmy Duggan.  Tim Reeves had another big game, going 2-4 with a three-run homer.  Mitchell Clagg, a transfer from Maine, started for UMass and gave up only two runs over his first seven innings before running out of gas.
