Strengths:
Reeves has scouts scratching their heads. In his first six weeks of ’08, he’s hit .393/.462/.573. He’s hit four homers in 26 games, after hitting zero in two years.  Credit may be due to GW hitting coach Dan Hodgson. Reeves has opened his stance and sprays balls to all fields. He also has gotten stronger and fly balls from last year are easily clearing the fence at Barcroft Park.  He’s not afraid of tough lefties anymore and can even go to the opposite field against them.

Weaknesses:
It’s hard to pencil a player high on a draft board after only six quality weeks. Reeves will not be a plus defender or a plus runner.

The Future:
It’s easy to see Tim Reeves drafted as early as the middle rounds or not at all.  Teams would be advised to let Reeves slide and see if he can continue his success through his senior season.
