Strengths:
He has a good curveball as long as he maintains his arm slot that really fools hitters.
Weaknesses:
He only works from the stretch, and could probably add some power if he used the windup. Also, when he drops his arm angle and turns his breaking ball into a slider he tends to hang it, giving hitters a good opportunity to drive the ball.
The Future:
With a good season, Saris could earn some consideration at the back end of the draft. But Saris hasn’t started well, giving up 22 runs in his first 8 1/3 innings.
