Strengths:
Hogue is a plus runner who has already stolen 18 bases in 19 attempts through April 5. He has good plate discipline and profiles as a big league leadoff hitter.
Weaknesses:
Even as a leadoff hitter, Hogue needs to improve his power production. He only has one extra base hit in 84 at-bats. Hogue struggles with inside fastballs and doesn’t have good bat speed.
The Future:
Hogue could be drafted after the 20th round.
