Strengths:
Webb is a strong, projectable pitcher who scouts will be following closely in 2008. He broke a bone in his left foot during the Kentucky high school playoffs. When he returned, he impressed scouts with his velocity and stamina. He pitched at 94 mph deep into games and could even throw harder as a pro.
Weaknesses:
Webb needs to improve his secondary pitches. He’s somewhat raw and hasn’t pitched against elite competition in high school.
