Strengths:
Conley has been Towson’s best hitter for two seasons and one of the best outfielders in the CAA. He hits for power and draws walks. His strikeout rate is improving. Conley has good plate discipline and is an excellent opposite field hitter.
Weaknesses:
Conley has trouble on plus fastballs on the inner third. As he loads his hands, he coils them towards his body. Because of this bat wrap, he was unable to catch up with Old Dominion’s Dan Hudson’s 93 mph fastball on the inside corner.
The Future:
Conley would be a valuable senior sign in the first 20 rounds.
