Strengths:
Hunter has all of the stuff of a front-line starting pitcher or power closer and none of the command. He consistently pitches in the mid-90s and he holds his 95 mph velocity into the sixth and seventh innings. His slider and changeup can also be effective pitches. He has experience as a starting pitcher and a closer for the Waves.
Weaknesses:
Hunter struggled with command in 2007 (as you can see in the video below), walking more than five batters per nine innings. He had better command when he was a closer as a freshman but he has more value to a pro team as a starting pitcher.
