Honors:

- 2007 All-Pac 10
- 2007 USA Baseball Golden Spikes Award Semi-finalist
Strengths:
Crawford is a good athlete and good enough to stick at shortstop as a pro. Some scouts think he will be an above average hitter as a pro.
Weaknesses:
The main critique of Crawford’s game is his strikeouts; he struck out in more than one-fifth of his plate appearances in 2007 with the Bruins. He hit .189 in the Cape Cod League in 2007 and hasn’t shown good power numbers at UCLA.
The Future:
Late first round.
