Honors:

  • 2007 American Baseball Coaches Association All-Atlantic Region second team
  • 2007 ESPN The Magazine Academic All-District III second team
  • 2007 ACC Academic Honor Roll

Strengths:
Warren is a strike-thrower who has four solid pitches: a four-seam fastball, a cutter, a changeup and a curve. His fastball velocity is solid-average at 86-91 mph. Warren is a savvy veteran who changes speeds and works down and away from hitters.

Weaknesses:
Neither Warren’s stats nor his stuff wow scouts. His peripheral stats are good, but not great. The same can be said for his repetoire. None of his pitches are true pluses. He could become a No. 3 starter.

The Future:
Warren profiles as a dependable starter. If he has another big year, he should be drafted in the first 20 rounds.
